The Attorney General's Office reported that four "huachicol" processing centers were dismantled following operations in the states of San Luis Potosí, Hidalgo, and Morelos.
Authorities state that the actions were undertaken at the four locations after receiving reports alerting them to these facilities, which led to intelligence work and operational actions.
One of the processing centers was found in the municipality of San Luis Potosí, where constant entries of tank trucks were reported, and after the search, eight tanks of 80 thousand liters, 894 containers of one thousand liters each, an asphalt machine, an electric generator, and machinery were seized.
Additionally, up to 600 thousand liters of hydrocarbons, 40 security straps for the hatch of tankers, documents, computer equipment, and a truck were also seized.
In the same state, but in the municipality of Laguna de San Vicente, a property was also found where 18 vertical tanks, two hydrocarbon production lines, 40 thousand liters of crude oil and diesel, a sample collection of sulfuric acid, and documents were seized.
The third case took place in the municipality of Tizayuca, Hidalgo, where a plot with 32 containers with a capacity of one thousand liters each was located.
Additionally, 25 containers with a capacity of 5 thousand liters, 456 thousand 300 liters of possible hydrocarbons, documents, monitors, computer equipment, and an "electronic device" were found on site.
The fourth processing center was in Cuautla, Morelos, where the entry of tankers escorted by trucks and a strong smell of hydrocarbons was detected.
The FGR specified that in addition to the seizure, samples from the containers, documents, and a check stub were also collected.
